Whether it is apathy, distaste or ignorance much can be done to change prevailing attitudes - but determined individuals with a drive to change perceptions, tastes and access need our support! Let's have more novels and poetry translated by people today, people who have modern tastes and sensibilites. Let's have these new books published and available online and in bookstores everywhere. Let's have more exposure to international cutures and their literatures through throught-provoking programmes on TV and the radio. Let's find out the best of world literature and share it with everyone.
